Interim Social Worker – Three Months
Interim position available while current employee is on leave. The purpose of this position is to assist meeting social services needs for Pleasant View Nursing Home residents. This person must have an understanding of caring for the elderly, Resident Rights, Abuse Prevention and Reporting, understanding of dementia, care plans, helps coordinates discharges/death arrangements.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in social work, sociology, or psychology; meet the national association of social workers’ standards of membership; and have one year of social work experience in a health care setting; or master’s degree in social work from a graduate school of social work accredited by the council on social work education.
FULL TIME FOOD SERVICE WORKER
Hours are 5:45am to 2:15pm and includes every other weekend. Starting pay is $11.18.
Job Duties are:
Assists in food preparation for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Performs tasks as directed by Food Service Supervisor, Cook, and Cook’s Helper.
Prepares residents’ food trays. Checks trays for correct cards and food requests/orders. Places trays on carts to appropriate floor.
Makes coffee, pours milk, coffee, tea, into appropriate containers.
Fills in for or relieve missing employee when needed.
Performs clean-up tasks including clearing dining room tables, washing trays, food preparation surfaces, pots, pans, utensils, food preparation equipment, dishes, cups etc. Fills dishwasher, dries, and puts away food service items.
Other jobs as assigned.
FULL TIME COOK’S HELPER
Hours are 10:45am-7:15pm and includes every other weekend. Starting pay is $11.38.
PURPOSE OF POSITION
The purpose of positions in this classification is to assist the cook(s) in the preparation of meals for residents, staff, and public at Pleasant View Nursing Home.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assists charge cook in all areas of work.
When adequately skilled in these areas, will be expected, in the absence of the charge cook, to assume his/her duties.
Supervises and prepares meals in large quantity; bakes bread, rolls, pastries, etc.
Supervises and assists in entire daily clean up procedure.
Supervises and assists in preparation of foods at the proper time for special diets and non-ambulatory residents and ambulatory residents.
Performs any other tasks that may be assigned.
Relieves or substitutes for missing employees if needed.
Fills food requisitions from Nursing and Activities.
Ability to operate equipment and machinery requiring simple, periodic adjustments, such as food mixers, blenders, slicers, grinders, and steam kettles. Ability to move and guide material using simple tools.
Ability to exert mildly heavy physical effort in moderate to heavy work including lifting/carrying (0-34 lbs. approximately 34-66%; 35-100+ lbs. approximately 1-33%).High school diploma with one year commercial or institutional food preparation experience, preferably in a long-term care setting, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities. An excellent attendance record is required.
C.N.A.’s Part-Time & Full-Time for PM Shift & Night Shift
Flexible hours including 4 hour shifts, 5 hour shifts, 8 hour shifts, and 12 hour shifts.
All Positions include every other weekend and holiday!!
Competitive Wages- Range- $16.81/hr. and $18.81 on the weekend!
Must be licensed in WI.
Certified Medication Assistant’s (CMA’S)
Full and Part time for Day and PM Shift!!
Day Shift is every other weekend. PM Shift is 7 days every two weeks.
We are offering hourly wages between $15.39-$16.31.
The primary purpose of a Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) position is to assist in the administering of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the nurse, the NCC and the RN Supervisor and the Director of Nursing Services. The administration of medications shall be in accordance with established nursing standards, the guidelines and practices of this facility. Must be a licensed Certified Medication Aide having successfully completed a state approved training program and any necessary examination(s) in accordance with laws of this State.
Full-time and Part-time RN/LPN – PM Shift
Seeking a nurse who can multi task, work in a fast paced environment, be full of energy and have a positive attitude. This self-directed position requires the knowledge and ability to provide competent resident centered care. Skills needed include excellent assessment skills, along with planning and implementing appropriate individualized care plans, administering medications, treatments, and wound care. Professional communication is required working with families, physicians and members of the healthcare team.
RN Rate of Pay: Range from $26.50-$29.10
+ $1.50 shift differential for pm
+ $8.00 Weekend Shift Differential
LPN Rate of Pay: Range from $19.42-$21.57
+$1.00 Shift Differential for PM
+$8.00 Weekend Shift Differential
“In House Pool” Nurses- all Shifts!
Pleasant View Nursing Home, a 110 bed SNF Green County facility, is seeking in House Pool Nurses with long term care experience. The purpose of these positions is to provide back-up employee coverage when employees are on vacation and/or personal day, out due to an illness, on leave or for coverage related to open positions. Hours of work will vary based upon the needs of PVNH and work assignments are at the sole discretion of PVNH. Must be flexible and able to train consistent hours and able to work (2) 8 hour shifts a month with 8 of those hours being a weekend shift.
RN’s- AM Shift $32.53
PM Shift & NOC $34.84
LPN’s AM Shift $26.71 All Shifts
