FULL AND PART-TIME DEMENTIA CARE TECHNICIANS (PM AND NIGHT SHIFTS)

New position and the purpose of this position in this classification is to care for and supervise residents with distressing dementia-related symptoms.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  1. Complete the duties and responsibilities as assigned, following the individualized care plan that is located in each resident room as well as in the resident charts. These services include: oral care, denture care, hair care, bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, nail care, skin care, toileting, serving meals, serving nutritional supplements, positioning in bed, positioning in wheelchair.
  2. Monitor that residents have the assistive devices needed for safety including monitoring of safe transfer and ambulation techniques.
  3. Assist ambulatory residents moving around. Transfer non-ambulatory, non-weight bearing residents. Re-position residents.
  4. Use mechanical devices for resident transfers (E-Z Lift, E-Z Stand, Hoyer, etc…).
  5. Assist with meals according to the needs of each resident. Be available to assist with the serving of the meal as well as clean up after the meal. Offer dietary supplements following the care plan.  PM Shift will offer meal nourishment prior to bedtime.
  • Instrumental Activities of Daily Living
  1.  Assist with telephone or video calls, mail, or other correspondence.
  2. Change bed linens. Adjust beds. Keep the resident room clean and neat.
  3. Keep the supply room, the kitchenette, the shower room, the clean and soiled utility room and day rooms neat and clean.
  4. Laundry.
  5. Transport residents to and from dentist, podiatrist, beauty shop, and on/off unit recreational activities.
  • Medication Assistance
  1. Assist resident with administration of medications, including monitoring of medication supplies and documentation.
  2. Demonstrate competence in administering medications and treatments to the RN delegating the task.

 

Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Function

  • High School Diploma or GED with Resident Assistant Experience OR Valid Wisconsin nursing assistant certification with previous related experience preferred. Attend educational programs and complete the hours required for the Nursing Assistant Certification.

 

Rate of Pay: $14.61-$17.70 based on experience and position

  • $2.00 shift differential for PMs
  • $1.50 shift differential for Nights
  • An additional $2.00 shift differential on weekends!

 

 

PART-TIME RN (NIGHT SHIFT, EVERY OTHER WEEKEND)

Part-time RN to work every other weekend, night shift.  Must be able to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, be full of energy and have a positive attitude. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Ideal candidate must possess excellent assessment skills, along with ability to plan and implement appropriate individualized care plans, administer medications, treatments, and wound care. Professional communication is required to work with families, physicians and members of the healthcare team. MUST have strong experience and passion for working with Dementia patients. Strong leadership skills and abilities a plus.

Must have a valid Wisconsin Nursing license.

Rate of Pay: Pay for RN is $26.76 to $29.99. Shift differential is $1.50, and $8.00 for weekends.

 

 

PART-TIME RN/LPN (PM SHIFT)

Seeking a nurse who can multi-task, work in a fast paced environment, be full of energy, and have a positive attitude.  Ideal candidate must possess excellent assessment skills, along with ability to plan and implement appropriate individualized care plans, administer medications, treatments, and wound care. Professional communication is required to work with families, physicians and members of the healthcare team.

  • Must have strong experience and passion for working with residents with dementia.
  • Must have a valid Wisconsin Nursing license.
  • Strong leadership skills and abilities a plus!

Rate of Pay: Pay for LPN is $20.42 to $23.46. Pay for RN is $26.76 to $33.94. PM shift differential is $1.50, and $8.00 for weekends.

 

 

FULL AND PART-TIME C.N.A.S (PM AND NIGHT SHIFT)

Rate of Pay: Up to $17.22 on weekdays and up to $19.22 on weekends

  • +$2.00 shift differential for PM shift
  • +$1.50 shift differential for Night shift
  • Additional $2.00 weekend shift differential

 

 

FULL AND PART-TIME RESIDENT ASSISTANTS (PM AND NIGHT SHIFT)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist our resident’s needs in every day functions and be knowledgeable of their care plan.  Assist with meals, getting residents to where they need to go, answering call lights promptly, making beds and more.  Must have experience as a Resident Assistant or Paid Caregiver.  These positions include working every other weekend!

Rate of Pay: $12.54-$13.53 + $1.50 shift differential & additional $2.00 shift differential on weekends!

 

 

CNA – POOL

This position provides direct certified nursing care under the direction of Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses to the residents of Pleasant View Nursing Home. Pool employees do not have a set work schedule and work as needed.

Rates:

  • AM Shift – $18.00
  • PM & Night Shift – $20.00
  • Weekend – $22.00

LPN – POOL

The purpose of this position is to perform nursing care within the scope of practice of the Licensed Practical Nurse. Pool employees do not have a set schedule.

Rates:

  • AM Shift – $27.00
  • PM & Night Shift – $28.00
  • Weekend Shift – $30.00

 

 

RN – POOL

The purpose of this position is to perform skilled nursing service within the scope of the Registered Nurse license at Pleasant View Nursing Home. Pool employees do not receive set schedules.

Rates:

  • AM Shift – $34.00
  • PM & Night Shift – $36.00
  • Weekend Shift – $40.00
